Toys distributed by Playwell are finalists of Toy of the Year® (TOTY®) Awards
The Toy Foundation™ (TTF) has announced the 122 finalists across 17 product categories for the prestigious Toy of the Year® (TOTY®) Awards. Among them are some of the toys and brands distributed by Playwell.
- Green Planet Explorers: Pandas’ Bamboo House by Hape was competing in the category PLAYSET OF THE YEAR.
- STEM Explorers™ Bridge Builders by Learning Resources was selected for the category CONSTRUCTION TOY OF THE YEAR.
- Kanoodle® Pyramid by Educational Insights was a finalist in the category GROWN-UP TOY OF THE YEAR.
- Reel Big Catch Game by Educational Insights is competing in the category PRESCHOOL TOY OF THE YEAR.
- And finally, CLIXO, our most recent partner for the magnetic STEM line was selected for two categories SPECIALTY TOY OF THE YEAR and CREATIVE TOY OF THE YEAR.
In addition, we are happy to announce that Peter Handstein, CEO of Hape International, was nominated as a finalist in the People-Focused Category Champion of Sustainability. This award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of purposeful, environmentally friendly, and mission-driven programs that lead the way in creating a better future for the toy industry.
These finalists have been handpicked by a team of experts who meticulously evaluated nominations from toy companies of all sizes.
