Weplay received the world’s first STEAM accreditation
Weplay toys received the world’s first STEAM accreditation launched by The Toy Association Inc. and Dr. Amanda Gummer’s The Good Play Guide™.
Wow! The World’s First STEAM Accreditation
In August 2022, The Toy Association Inc. and The Good Play Guide™ launched the STEAM accreditation program. It offers an independent third-party evaluation for STEAM toys. Each accredited toy has to pass the strict criteria outlined by “STEAM Toy Assessment Framework” before receiving the assessment report and the accreditation stamp.
High-quality Accredited Products
Weplay products are designed with the core value of We play, We learn, connected with the concept of STEAM. We expect to build a learning foundation for children aged 0-6. Weplay Icy Ice Building Set, Weplay Crystal Village, and Weplay Sand and Water Clam passed the strict criteria launched by The Toy Association Inc. and The Good Play Guide™. They are mostly rated as ‘Excellent’ and ‘Good’ in the report.
Tested by Children & Scientifically Proven Evaluation
Children under professional observation tested the toys at first. Then the toys are evaluated with the scientifically proven method by The Good Play Guide™. Dr. Amanda Gummer, who has a Ph.D. in neuropsychology and experience working with children and parents for over 20 years, approved the evaluation. As a result, it is a fair, objective, and trustworthy standard. Notably, “Weplay Sand and Water Clam” is included in The Toy Association’s “Back to School STEAM Toy Shopping List”.
Weplay x STEAM Accreditation
Weplay products received STEAM accreditation with high-quality, interesting, and attractive designs. In addition, Weplay products can provide educational values, skills, and inspiration to children. A senior director of The Toy Association considers that these STEAM-accredited products can not only help children actively and independently be involved in learning and practicing with the age-appropriate targets but also have clear relevance and application to the real world. Weplay also emphasizes the concept of cultivating multiple skills through playing and helps children build the foundation of the following abilities before the age of six.
